As a traditional sculptor, 3D scanning gave me the ability to archive my clay sculptures that were either challenging or too expensive to cast.

 

I also love the ability to make modifications to my pieces digitally. I could experiment with proportions, mirror forms, test out variations, and even combine elements from many of my sculptures—all without touching the original clay.

 

It became a tool for preservation and exploration.
